Down In It

I love music. It’s healing. It’s fun. It’s angry. It’s sad.  It’s happy. It’s passionate.

The car is my favorite place to listen to music when I’m full of restless energy and frustrations. I love how the whole car vibrates with the bass, because it’s a terrific representation of myself when in this mood. SO today I blasted, while I took care of my errands.

I’ve rediscovered Nine Inch Nails, and it was perfect blasting material. I used to be able to sing “Down in It” word for word. After today, I might be able to again. Love this song.

“I’ll cross my heart and hope to die.
But the needle’s already in my eye.
And all the world’s weight is on my back and I don’t even know why.
And what I used to think was me is just a fading memory.
I looked him right in the eye and said good bye.”
