What’s Wrong With Passion?

Well, let’s consider this question first. Are you passionate or angry? I see a lot of anger that may stem from passion, but it’s hard to tell when your behavior is abusive and scary.

Obviously there is nothing wrong with passion. Most of us are guided by our passion(s),  but under what emotion? You see, this is where some are seriously misguided. The problem is, passion can fall on extreme sides of the emotional spectrum. It can be loving, but it can also be hateful, and full of fear. Passion can lead us to greatness, but it can also kill us.

We need to analyze those topics we feel incredibly passionate about. We need to determine whether or not our passion is based in fear, or hate.We need to decide if our passion has an overall damaging agenda attached to it.

Please go forth, follow your dreams, achieve your goals, but please don’t let your passion hurt others. This is your chance to really explore your feelings, and make a difference not only in the lives of others, but in your own, because if you’re being lead by hate and fear, you are surely dying inside. What a scary existence that must be.
