The 2nd Day

Today flew by so quickly I almost have nothing to say. I had the music, tea, and a thirty minute road trip to and from. Did I say I almost have nothing to say?

Today I:

Took my son to the airport today. He’s back to school at least until March. He seemed to be in a hurry and worried about us blocking traffic. Almost so much so to even give a proper goodbye. I hope he one day realizes that it doesn’t matter that the traffic is clogged, it doesn’t matter that people are probably cursing you under your breath, it doesn’t matter that people are watching. All that matters is that you say a heartfelt goodbye, and “I love you,” before you head off, because life is too unpredictable to risk a loving gesture due to some sort of worry about making other people uncomfortable in some way.

After I dropped my son, I rescued three tiny kittens with this furry guy:

I’m terribly allergic to the kittens, but saving them is worth a little discomfort. SO I suppose I made today count… even though it flew by and I was unable to get much of anything done.

Tomorrow it’s back to work. I’m already exhausted.
